New Novella Release: Endor — A Dark Biblical Fiction Reimagining the Witch of Endor
Discover Endor, a bold new novella that reimagines the biblical account of the Witch of Endor from 1 Samuel 28. Set in ancient Israel during a time of war, prophecy, and spiritual unrest, Endor blends dark historical fantasy with grounded realism to retell one of the Bible’s most mysterious stories.
This is not the Sunday school version—Endor explores themes of exile, identity, power, and fear, offering a fresh take on a woman history labeled a sorceress. Perfect for fans of biblical fiction, spiritual thrillers, and atmospheric historical tales, Endor challenges what we think we know—and invites readers into a world where belief can be both salvation and weapon.

This book wrecked me. It did. It's so beautiful, but also so brutal. Like... I had to set it down a few times just to take a breather. But I kept coming back. I wanted more. Just like the Old Testament: Endor doesn't play. I wasn't ready for the blood, the fear, the spiritual weight of it all… It's honest about the violence of the world she lived in and it's haunting.
ReplyDeleteReading Endor made me rethink that entire passage in the Bible. Not just Saul's mad desperation, but her silence. What do we really lose when we erase women's stories?
ReplyDeleteWhy hasn’t anyone done this before? The Witch of Endor has so much potential. Why didn’t anyone take her seriously until now?
I've read tons of biblical fiction, but Endor hits different. It didn't sanitize the darkness, but rather leaned into it and still found some humanity in the shadows.
DeleteThis book is fire! The way belief is shown as both salvation and weapon? Just BRILLIANT. Absolutely devoured it and stayed WAY too late reading it. I was holding my breath half the time! It's that good! You should be proud of this achievement, Asher!
